Trump’s GOP Rivals Seek to Slow His Momentum

Wall Street Journal - Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas decisively won the Kansas Republican caucuses on Saturday, notching another victory in his drive to slow the momentum of front-runner Donald Trump.

With all of the state’s vote counted, Mr. Cruz, of Texas, had 48%, versus 23% for Mr. Trump, according to the Associated Press. Sen. Marco Rubio had nearly 17% of the vote, and Ohio Gov. John Kasich had nearly 11%. Kansas allocates its 40 convention delegates on a proportional basis to candidates who earn at least 10%.
